Action with undershirts, a wooden cabinet 3 x 3 x 3 mtr. and acrylic paint with pigments.

Rotterdam Academy of fine arts - 1976
Based on Umbilical fluffy and still with 'Body art' in mind I tried to take things a little bit further and made an 'action-piece' for 5 days.
in 5 spaces: (actually one small room of 3 x 3 x 3 mtr.)

Monday GREEN
Tuesday YELLOW
Wednesday BLUE
Thursday LILAC
Friday RED

I would appear in an undershirt of the same color as I painted the room that day. During the day I kept on wearing the undershirt and dust (particles of the fabric of the undershirt) - in the colors of the days - would collect in my Umbilical region.

I called it 'Body Colors', because it would appear as if my body changed in the color of the day.

Action   Afterwards this 'action' (de term performance as an art technique didn't exist at the time, at least not to my knowledge) was documented and showed in the small room.
