Had to, but didn't want to really,
situate a sculptural form in 'the open space'. I'd chose plates of glass:
they were there, but did merely emphasize the environment instead of claiming
it. As if there was a sculpture and at the same time there was not.
The idea came from the formulation / definition of the problem: 'how
to make a sculpture that is about - and reflecting - the environment already
there'. (as a hint to look better - or maybe differently - at the usual
view of the environment) |
